Ann woont in Ballarat, Victoria. Een van de zuidelijke staten van Australië en ze stuurde me een kaart van het jaarlijkse Begonia Festival dat ieder jaar in maart gehouden wordt. Verder schrijft ze dat ook de omgeving van Ballarat door deze hete zomer getroffen werd door vreselijke bosbranden.
