Zhou's Mansion.

In february 1939, Mr. Zhou Enlai and his wife Madame Deng Yingchao came to live in No. 50, Zengjiayan, hence the building was called Zhou's Mansion. It was also the office of part of the South Bureau of the Communist party and KMY officials. People of both parties worked side by side during the eight years of Anti-Japanese War.

Deze kaart vertelt over het Chinese Nieuwjaar. Zelfs de postzegel achterop wenst me een Gelukkig Nieuwjaar (in het Chinees natuurlijk).

En wat te zeggen van deze kaart? Is-ie niet geweldig? Ik kreeg hem van Mia uit Beijing. Een prachtige aanvulling voor mijn verzameling kaarten met als onderwerp boeken en/of lezen!
